Reverted the last commit, noting that the implementation physically
copies the dnwell and subcut layers up the hierarchy, which is not
a proper use of "copyup", as it creates unnecessary redundant layout
that, in theory, should have no impact on the extraction. This may
have at one time worked around an issue in magic's extractor. If
there is still an extraction issue, then the problem needs to be
fixed in magic, not with a workaround. If really needed, it should
be recast as an extraction variant so as not to interfere with
normal use of the extractor.
