The example shows a way to generate the foundation flow scripts for a small design.
To run FLAT flow:
cd INNOVUS/DESIGN/
tclsh SCRIPTS/gen_flow.tcl -m flat all
The output scripts gets generated in the FF/EDI directory.
To run the scripts:
set the innovus path.
make
To run HIERARCHICAL flow:
cd INNOVUS/DESIGN/
tclsh SCRIPTS/gen_flow.tcl -m hier all
The output scripts for partition and assembly gets generated in the FF/EDI directory.
The PARTITION directory gets created for <top> and <block> implementation flows. Each
<block> directory contains scripts for flat block implementation; the <top> directory
contains scripts for ILM based implementation.
To run the scripts:
set the innovus path.
make
The flow for make would be :
Run partition step
Run <block> implementation(s) in parallel
Run <top> implementation using block ILM
Run assembly and sign-off
For both flat and hier flows, the inputs can be configured through setup.tcl (data) and innovus_config.tcl (tool options)
For both the flows, plugins (user customizations) can be defined in the PLUG directory. Uncommenting the plugin in the file innovus_config.tcl will enable the plugins to be used during the appropriates step.
