7.1 Design Geometry Rules

.. note::

    1. For Cu_PPI, OFFGRID check waived for features that are not orthogonal or 45 degrees and for orthogonal or 45
       degree edges with length <=0.015um

    2. OFFGRID check waived for features that have >= 64 vertices for PM1_PPI, PM2_PPI, UBMPPeri.
    
    3. When layer X is not overlapping with TANRES_MK marker layer (X NOT TANRES_MK), OFFGRID is
       checked.
       When layer X is overlapping with TANRES_MK (X AND TANRES_MK), and if the layer X is with orthogonal
       or 45 degree edges only, OFFGRID is checked. Else, OFFGRID check is waived.
       X = METAL_SHIELD (MetalShield option is selected), MetalTop (1P6M+MetalShield option is selected) or
       Metal5 (1P5M+MetalShield option is selected), METAL_SHIELD_VIA, Pad

    4. For TANRES and TANRES_MK layers, if the layers are with orthogonal or 45 degree edges only, OFFGRID is
       checked. Else, OFFGRID check is waived
